George Burrell

George Burrell joined the Kingsley Group as a Business Development Advisor in 2019, bringing over 40 years of expertise in business organization, development, and troubleshooting to the new Branson, MO office. A serial entrepreneur, George has a prolific and diverse career, having helped salvage, grow, and sell numerous companies in industries such as aviation, oil and gas, medical, IT, and more.

George possesses a deep understanding of nearly all facets of running a small business, from organization and fundraising to daily operations and management, allowing him to relate closely to clients. Before joining the Kingsley Group, he served as the Vice President and Business Development Officer for a 21-year-old investment banking firm. Earlier in his career, he founded and presided over a regional oil and gas operation with substantial assets in Kansas and Texas, successfully selling the company in 2014 just before the oil market downturn of 2014-15.

Educationally, George holds an undergraduate degree in Mining Engineering/Engineering Geophysics from Lehigh University and a graduate degree in Engineering Administration from Southern Methodist University. Although he is a retired licensed professional engineer, he maintains a current certification in Mediation.
