Jim has almost 30 years of combined experience in manufacturing and industrial distribution with 10+ years of owning and operating manufacturing businesses. A disciple and practitioner of continuous improvement and lean management practices, Jim has successfully created value in several stagnant or turnaround situations. In addition, he has experience raising capital in the private equity market. These experiences have prepared him to advise other business owners and executives who are navigating difficult times or seeking an exit strategy.
Jim holds a BSBA, with an emphasis in marketing, and a MBA, with an emphasis in finance, from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He is a past board member and president of the Southwest Area Manufacturers Association (SAMA) and is active in the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Rotary Club of Southeast Springfield. Jim is also a member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA).
